Family Planning in Slum Areas
Gyan Books Pvt. Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 8121204496; Hardcover; New; New;
The interlinked problems of family planning and family welfare are some of the most urgent concerns of the Third World, specially on the eve of the third mellenium. Increasing population and rising urbanization have led to the emergence of slums in all cities, leading to a deterioration to the quality of life. In this book, the author analyses the dynamics of planned parenthood in slum areas within the framework of certain sociological parameters. Her approach is both descriptive and diagnostic. She not only perceives the stumbling blocks but also suggests pragmatic methods of clipping their dimensions. Unless the rise in numbers is halted, the ecological disequilibrium will continue to grow wider and all our developmental plans will have only a ?trickle down? effect.Printed Pages: 239. 105766

India Mutiny to Mahatma and Swaraj (A History of Hundred Years)
Gyan Books Pvt. Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 8121213223; Hardcover; New; New;
This book gives a brief account of one hundred years of Indian history mainly from mutiny to emergence of Mahatma Gandhi and finally swaraj. It highlights the differences between Hindus and Muslims rulers which gave advantage to the Europeans traders to capture Indian market. Consequently, the British East India Company gained great power in India andruled until 1857. It discusses the reasons behind the transfer of power from Company to the Crown after the mutiny of 1857. The British divided India into provinces ruled directly by the British governors and the states ruled by the native princes. The book sheds light on Indian nationalist movements, both by the Indian National Congress and Muslim League, which compelled the colonial rulers to grant independence in 1947, not as united India but a divided India. One dominion kept the name India and the other took the name Pakistan. The book presents the contemporary situation of independent India which was confronting a varieties of tasks and challenges such as economic and political legacies left by the rulers and above all, to hold India together as a country and keep united a multi-religious, multi-cultural, multilingual nation within a democratic framework. Finally but importantly it also evaluates the impact of British rule which lasted for almost 190 years in India. Printed Pages: 298. 111531

Classic Tales from Mystic India: Stories of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Ganesha and Krishna and from the Ramayana and Mahabharata
Jaico Publishing House; Delhi, India; 8184954468; Softcover; New;
King Kubera was the greediest man in the world. Hated and feared by many, he schemed to win the love of the beautiful goddess Parvati... but learned an important lesson when he invited her elephant-headed son Ganesha to lunch one day.THUS GOES ONE OF THE MANY DELIGHTFUL TALES in this decidedly grown-up book of traditional Indian stories, retold for the modern reader. Author Kamla K. Kapur’s connection to these ago-old stories is the reverent yet individualistic kind we might expect from someone whose introduction is of her hometown, where naked, dreadlocked holy men speed about on motorbikes.To collect these stories, Kapur relied on ancient sacred texts, modern scholarship and chance encounters with interesting people who just happened to know a really good one about the time that Vishnu sank into the ocean, was incarnated as a pig, and had a really wonderful time.Like myths around the world, these are teaching stories that offer both a window into a fascinating culture that has existed for thousands of years, and a code for living that can be applied to the modern world. Whether you read these engaging tales for the monkey gods, talking toads and beautiful maidens in distress... or for an Eastern viewpoint on the eternal questions surrounding love, friendship, faith, happiness and war, this is a book that bears repeated reading and is a fine addition to any collection.Printed Pages: 160. 105349

Rang De Basanti: A Generation Awakens
Om Books International; New Delhi, India; 9789381607084; First Edition; Softcover; New;
A young London-based filmmaker happens to find her grandfather’s diaries which narrate his experiences as a British jailor in India during the Raj. Excited about these memoirs, she arrives in Delhi and casts a group of young friends to play the roles of legendary Indian revolutionaries—Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Ramprasad Bismil and Ashfaqullah Khan—in a documentary film, called ‘The Young Guns of India’. The complex narrative in this compelling film interweaves two strands, one set in modern India and the other in an India of the first half of the 20th century with dexterity and yet apparent effortlessness. The shooting script is going to be published for the first time, supplemented with exclusive behind-the-scenes stills, storyboards and other visuals from the film and a foreword by writer-director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and an afterword by writer Prasoon Joshi. It is an essential read for film students and a collector’s item for movie buffs.Printed Pages: 266. 105165

History of Theravada Buddhism in South-East Asia: with special reference to India and Ceylon
Munshiram Manoharlal Publishers Pvt. Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 2002; 8121501644; Second Edition; Hard Cover; New; New; 14 Cms x 22 Cms
Theravada Buddhism exists in Ceylon (Sri Lanka), Burma, Siam (Thailand), Cambodia and in Laos. This form of Buddhism is the tie that binds Ceylon with all these countries of Couth-east Asia. The present book tries to show that Ceylon had strong cultural links with her neighbours in South-east Asia. From the eleventh century onwards the Sihala Sangha and Sihala Buddhism constitute a strong and vitalising force in the religious history of South-east Asia, and the Buddhist countries in South-east Asia looked on Ceylon as the fountainhead of Theravada Buddhism. This book also deals with the introduction and development of Buddhism in India. The chief aim of this book is to examine carefully and to evaluate historically the evidence in the primary sources relating to the religious ties that existed along the Theravada countries. This book will no doubt be helpful to those interested in the study of Buddhism and Buddhist culture in India as well as in South and South-east Asia. Printed Pages: 244 with 1 map. 029040

Buddhism and Buddhist Literature in Early Indian Epigraphy
Munshiram Manoharlal Publishers Pvt. Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 2002; 8121510376; First Edition; Hard Cover; New; New; 14 Cms x 22 Cms
This is first detailed authentic record of Buddhism as depicted in the inscriptions of ancient India. In this scholarly work the author discusses the significance of inscriptions and shows how they, as primary source material, play a major role in providing the factual underpinnings of the social, political, religious, cultural, and literary history of early India. This work, based both on the author's original study of the inscriptions of the period and the extant literature on the subject, provides an in-depth account, on the one hand, of the richness and variety of information provided by them and; on the other, a description of the development of Buddhism in Asoka's time. By skillfully weaving together all the available information, the author is able to paint a vivid portrait of Asoka, the great Mauryan ruler, and his munificent patronage of and active steps in furthering the Buddhist faith. He shows too that following the Second Buddhist Council the Buddhist world saw a schism in the Buddhist Samgha and the formation of two major sects; the Sthaviravada or the Hinayana, on the one hand, and the Theravada or the Mahasamghika, on the other, and that from these about eighteen sub-sects were born. Drawing upon some hitherto untapped inscriptional sources, this study shows how these sub-sects came into existence, their central tenets and doctrines, and their development under the patronage of the rulers of the time who played an extremely active role in their growth and development. This work is thus a valuable addition to the earlier literature on the subject, widening and deepening its ambit, and should prove of great value to historians and research scholars, and other readers interested in the development of Buddhism in its formative years. Growth, Equity, Environment and Population: Economic and Sociological Perspectives
Sage Publications; New Delhi, India; 2007; 0761936777; First Edition; Hardcover; New; New;
In India the process of modernization and development was initiated in the early 1950s, bringing in its fold a number of issues. This book discusses and analyzes from an economic and social perspective some of these vital concerns—growth, equity, environment and human resources. It is a collection of the work of researchers at the Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), inspired by the forthcoming Golden Jubilee Year of the IEG. The essays in the volume employ sophisticated quantitative techniques in the analyses, thereby enhancing the quality of the subject matter. The volume will prove immensely useful for planners and policymakers as well as students and scholars of development studies. The essays are organized in five sections. The first section comprises issues concerning growth viewed from the perspectives of macro-economics, agriculture and industry. Another section deals with regional and gender equity. Economics and sociology of the environment constitute a third section, while a fourth section is about population, migration and health. The last section discusses sociological perspectives on religion, the institution of family and its place in modern society. Printed Pages: 486. 028532

Between Femininity and Feminism: Colonial and Postcolonial Perspectives on Care
D.K. Printworld (P) Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 2014; 8124607303; First Edition; Hardcover; New; New; 15 x 23 Cm
This book engages with the contribution of feminist thinkers to examine their transformation of the activity of philosophy itself in the course of its contact with the feminine. It also portrays how the feminist philosophy brings about a greater awareness of philosophy's relation to history, culture and other disciplines. The author vividly puts into limelight the struggle between femininity and feminism in the philosophical corpus of feminist thinkers with reference to the concept of care. She takes pioneering feminism during the colonial period as its starting point and moves to its second wave during the post-colonial period to examine the trajectory of the concept of care. Women do not form a homogeneous category. Therefore, this volume explores the extent to which Ramabai, Wollstonecraft, Okin, Gilligan and de Beauvoir can dialogue with the contemporary women. The relationship between these thinkers and their arguments is conceptually connected. The book addresses a few questions such as what is femininity, can one define feminine at all, how does a feminist feminine differ from a patriarchal feminine, can male philosophical frameworks be employed in feminist directions, among others. The book also investigates the shifts from the colonial to post-colonial periods in the feminist approaches to care. It examines the possibility of integrating feminine care with the political concepts of justice and autonomy. An added task of intervening in the conceptual categories of Western feminism in an attempt to blur the strict binary between the Indian and Western traditions, is also explored. Matrilineal Communities, Patriarchal Realities
Zubaan; New Delhi, India; 8189013041; First Edition; Hardcover; New; New;
In rejecting falsely homogenizing accounts of women's lives, feminist economists have, in recent years, unlocked the multiple ways in which gendered relations of dominance and subordination are maintained. One of the key differences they have turned their attention to is ethnicity. This study of Muslim, Sinhala and Tamil households, in Sri Lanka examines both the commonality of patriarchal structures and economic problems in such households, as well as the differences created by the ethnicities that divide them. The author looks at the nature and reliability of kinship support for female heads and the reciprocal obligations in terms of female propriety and conventional conduct extracted from female heads. She questions development policies premised on the patriarchal household and argues for a recognition of diversity and complexity. Contents Acknowledgement 1. Roots of Terrorism
Penguin; New Delhi, India; 2002; 0143028138; First Edition; Paperback; New; 13 Cms x 20 Cms
The events of 11 September in New York and 13 December in New Delhi marked the high points of terrorism. But India’s experience with it goes back two decades. In this essay, Bajpai examines the volatile situation in the borderlands of Kashmir, Punjab and the Northeast, while drawing comparisons with leftist insurgency, communal riots, and caste wars elsewhere. How should we think about terrorist violence? Why has India been the object of terrorism from separatist groups in Kashmir, Punjab, and the Northeast? Have external influences played a role in supporting this? How has the Indian government responded to secessionist violence? These are some of the concerns the author explores here, as he seeks an identifiable set of factors that account for terrorism. Dwelling on how this violence can be combated, Bajpai discusses in detail the case of Kashmir. He argues convincingly about the impracticality of the military option, including war, and the futility of using limited force, as in policing, without commitment to a credible political process, namely free and fair elections. In this forceful and timely essay he not only calls for measured governmental action, but also places responsibility on citizens for restoring long-term peace by finding ways of de-legitimizing violence in Indian society. India’s Foreign Policy: A Reader (Critical Issues in India)
Oxford University Press; New Delhi, India; 019808174X; Hardcover; New; New;
In this timely volume, two leading experts on India`s foreign policy bring together essays written over the last 15 years by eminent scholars and practitioners that challenge commonly held perceptions of India`s external relations. The volume explores several myths about the country`s foreign policy?that it lacks a strategic culture; that it is formulated without any clearly discernible guiding principles; and that it is largely idealistic in its orientation. The reader provides incisive insights into key features of India`s foreign policy. It also traces through the changes that the country has undergone over the years and highlights contemporary policy challenges. Divided into four sections, India`s Foreign Policy analyses India`s thinking on its strategic culture and its conception of how to deal with the world; its power and foreign policy infrastructure; its external relationships with major countries; and, finally, its global diplomacy on climate change and its approach to the World Trade Organization. Life and Conditions of the People of Hindustan
Munshiram Manoharlal Publishers Pvt. Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 1988; 8121500923; Third Edition; Hard Cover; New; New; 15 Cms x 23 Cms
The present work seeks to examine the interplay of the political, economic and social forces which contributed to the shaping of the society of medieval India. Tracing the rise of Muslim monarchy the author places the Sultan in proper perspective of Islamic ideals and Indian environment. The resultant sultanate was based purely on force; tyranny was essential for its working; the state treasury was the personal property of the Sultan; extravagant and wasteful expenditure was the rule. Under the economic conditions, the author lays stress on the importance of the village community in the economic organization of production, the chief feature being production mainly for the purpose of local consumption. The social condition was governed by joint family system in which the family life was regulated on the basis of customs and manners. The beliefs of the people were an outcome of the mental make-up which determined heir attitude to life, fairs and festivals and recreations both out-door and in-door added jest to life and brought about observations in social life. All these and many other aspects have been analysed and presented in a lucid style which make the book highly informative. Printed Pages: 324. 002318

Acharya Shankar Krita Brahmasutra Adhyasabhashya
D.K. Printworld (P) Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 2015; 812460763X; First Edition; Hardcover; New; New; 15 x 23 Cm
Adyasavada is the key principle of Advaita Vedanta. Basic premise of this theory is Adhyasabhashya. Before interpreting the first brahmasutra (athato brahmajijnasa (Br.Su. 1.1.1), Acharya Shankara submitted a valuable commentary known as Adhyasabhashya. The book presents a comprehensive study of Adhyasabhashya in the light of Panchapadika of Padmapada, Bhamati of Vacaspati Mishra, Vivarana of Prakashatma Yati, Ratnaprabha of Govindananda Yati and other Vedantic texts. The numerous curiosities associated with Adhyasabhashya have been resolved in the present book: What is the format of Adhyasabhashya? Without commentary on any sutra can Adhyasabhashya be considered as a commentary? Adhyasabhashya begins with sentence yushmadasmatpratyayagocara so Adhyasabhashya consists mangalacharana or not? What is the purpose of Adhyasabhashya? Adhyasa principle is the cornerstone of Shankaravedanta. This is the theory of error of Shankaravedanta. In the context of theory of error Shankara proposed the theory of Anirvacaniyakhyativada and refuted all prior theories of error. In this book the commentaries of Brahma-Sutra and Shariraka-Bhashya and definition, causes, types, and results of adhyasa have been analysed in detail. Although it is difficult to write something about complex and difficult theory of Adyasavada, an endeavour is being made to bring out the theory of Adyasavada for scholars through this book. Comprehensive Security for an Emerging India
KW Publishers; New Delhi, India; 2010; 9789380502304; First Edition; Hardcover; New; New;
This volume objectively evaluates the headwinds of comprehensive security challenges that India would confront in the years ahead. Over nearly two decades, India has made successful transitions to ‘emerge’ on the regional and global scene, but informed and reasoned analyses of the multi-dimensional dangers that loom large, and the common opportunities available, have been lacking. It is hoped that this lacuna would be filled to an extent by this volume, in which leading luminaries on ‘hard’ and non-traditional security issues have provided incisive inputs that together shape the meta-narratives on comprehensive security in the Indian context.This volume objectively evaluates the headwinds of comprehensive security challenges that India would confront in the years ahead. Rati-Bhakti: Bharat Ki Katha-Parampara Mein
D.K. Printworld (P) Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 2011; 8124605947; First Edition; Hardcover; New; New; 15 x 23 Cm
There is intense interrelationship of love and devotion in narrative tradition of India. The concept of Rati-bhakti (love-devotion) is visible in Indian history since ancient times. Love and devotion are two facets of the one and the same fact. In the poetry and prose of Rati-bhakti, the human love is regarded as divine. Here, God and devotee are seen as lovers and, on the other hand, lovers are considered as the form of God himself. The knowledge of Shastras, not being accessible to all, is propagated through narration. There are unlimited treasures of narratives in all languages and scholarly traditions of India as well as various themes related to manhood-quartet of narration-treasure. In this book, the main focus is on Rati-bhakti (devotion to love). In the cogitation of poetry-text, shringara rasa is foremost and the fundamental one for thinkers like Bhojaraj. The permanent rasa of shringara is love and how this is accomplished in shringara and devotion, is beautifully depicted in this book. In the folk tales of Punjab, the narrators/poets of Rati-shastra/narrations see love-adorable in divine form and in devotional narrations and poetry, the poets and narrators see their God as their lover or beloved. This love-devotion tradition originated in India in the seventh century ce through the Tamil Alvars in their prabandhas. This tradition remained alive till nineteenth century in the folk tales of Punjab. Since then, owing to Western influence, the love is seen as lust in place of devotion. In this book the contemplation has been done on tradition, intellectual tradition, the knowledge of narration and means of narratives, the relationship between knowledge and narratives. This book sould prove to be thought-provoking and interesting for students and scholars of philosophy, language and literature as well as for the common readers.Printed Pages: 278. 100435

Comparative Literacy Theory: An Overview
D.K. Printworld (P) Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 2014; 8124607206; First Edition; Hardcover; New; New; 15 x 23 Cm
Two cultures of the world — Greek and Indian — have nourished literature. While the contemporary Western thinking is rooted in Greek thought, especially of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, and percolated down to the modern European languages with the advent of Christian thought, the multilingual Indian literary tradition has its base from the classical Tamil, Pali, Prakrt and Sanskrit. Though cultural specificity marks these two traditions off from each other, the universal human condition that finds expression in all literatures binds them together. This book delves deep into the growth of poetics, theory of literature, literary artefacts, aesthetics of literature as an art form, and dramaturgy and philosophy of literature. Cultures have given forms as their typical expressions — for India great epics, for Greece tragedies, and for England lyrics. Similarly, different ages of a culture find expression in different forms — Elizabethan age of England in lyrics, sixteenth-seventeenth centuries in drama, eighteenth century in prose, and nineteenth century in novel. India’s genius is in epics and its expression unfolds in shravya-preksha compositions, being singable poetry as its preferred form. This book must serve pretty useful for students and teachers of literature. Also, an invaluable collection for researchers in literature.Printed Pages: 232. 100473

Dimensions of Renunciation in Advaita Vedanta
Motilal Banarsidass Publishers Pvt. Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 1998; 8120808258; Hardcover; New; New;
The aim of this dissertation is to present a systematic exposition of renunciation (Samnyasa) as a philosophico-religious category within Indian tradition with special reference to Advaita Vedanta of Samkaracarya. The author tried to justify this category as a spiritual technique systematically worked out and developed by Advaitins particularly Samkara with a view to classifying and systematizing values in terms of the different forms which renunciation and its object may be found to assume. This dissertation also highlights principles of human behaviour in the Indian tradition implicitly clarifying thereby such concepts as dharma (socio-religious duties), the good life, obligation and responsibility etc.Printed Pages: 168. 102139

I Witness: Partial Observations
IndiaInk/Roli Books; New Delhi, India; 8186939458; Softcover; New;
I Witness is Kapil Sibal's first sojourn into the literary sphere, a refreshing digression from his pragmatic and prosaic worlds of administration and policy-making. Mostly in rhyme, the poems are contemporary in theme, wickedly amusing, sharp and sparkling like cut glass. On the other hand, revelations of tenderness, longing and a certain tentativeness through romantic yet feisty love poems bare a hitherto hidden facet of a very public man. The poems move effortlessly between the private and public world of this closet poet. Emotions ranging from love to terrorism, Twenty 20 cricket to global warming and Antarctica are disarming yet perspicacious and strung together with sensitivity. And above all, there is the ability of the poet to laugh at himself. Incisive and insightful, the poems make for a delectable cordon bleu spread to be savoured by the discerning connoisseur. Prakrti: The Integral Vision, 5 Vols
Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts/D.K. Printworld (P) Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 1995; 8124600368; Hardcover; New; New;
Why do we feel warm in the sunlight? Why does the sun feel warm? Is it a physical phenomenon? Is it the body that feels warm? Is it nature that provides warmth? Is it only the sun that provides warmth? Or are there other elements in interaction with the body which produce the warmth?If it is the body that feels warm, then what is body? Is it matter? Is it an aggregation of five elements?" These ostensibly simple, childlike questions — asked by the distinguished scientist, the late Professor D.S. Kothari, at the very outset of an enlightening talk about three years ago — lead us to one of the mankind’s universal concerns: Prakriti: a Sanskrit equivalent of Nature, in its broadest connotations.Ever since man’s first conscious awareness of the phenomena of nature around him, and yet more of his indispensable dependence in primal elements (bhutas/mahabhutas), Prakriti has evoked varying responses in science, philosophy, religion, arts, and in civilizations as far apart as Egyptian, Chinese, Greek and Indian — permeating expressions through the written or the oral words, generating a language of myth and symbol which communicates across cultures. Already countless myths of the origin of the universe, creation, cosmology and cosmogony have been developed on the concept of the Elements/Bhutas: earth, air, water, fire, and space (ether). Already there exists a vast body of sources and an equally extensive, highly complex history of critical discourse on the nature of primal elements and their indispensability not only to man, but to all life on earth. Supporting the Rigvedic verse: "Truth is one, (though) man knows it by different names", Prakriti: The Integral Vision explores, through "different paths", a single universal theme: the concept of Primal Elements (Bhutas/Mahabhutas): earth, air, water, fire and space, and how this concept has, over the ages, been viewed in different cultures which, undoubtedly, have shaped the evolution of human civilization. The authors, representing a whole variety of academic disciplines, look afresh at folklorist accounts, scriptural literature, religious traditions, and different genres of art to conjure an intergal vision of prakriti — with insightful perspectives on the ‘nature of matter’ and ‘man in nature’. Prakriti: The Integral Vision assumes an added significance today, when man is threatened by pollution: inner and outer, of his own making. Though contemporary idiom and through illustration, it revalidates the vital importance of primal elements: the very fundamentals that make human life possible on the earth — emphasizing that the maintenance, sustenance and purity of these "primary and primal" elements are not matters of intellectual discourse alone, but have to be the objectives of our life, lest death overtakes us!Printed Pages: 101708

Metaphors of the Indian Arts and Other Essays
D.K. Printworld (P) Ltd.; New Delhi, India; 2015; 8124608202; First Edition; Hardcover; New; New; 23 x 29 Cm
This anthology Metaphors of the Indian Arts and Other Essays is a selection of writings of Dr Kapila Vatsyayan’s nearly four-decade long journey as an art critic and art historian. It reveals the distinct nature of Indian arts from the angle of the world-view in which they emerge. At the same time, it amply shows the theory of art and aesthetics which may enable us to “to see the other traditions of art from our own window”. In a seminal article entitled “Metaphors of the Indian Arts”, the author identifies some fundamentals which permeate the Indian artistic traditions. In the article entitled “Mountain, Myth, Monuments” Dr Vatsyayan discusses the significance of mountains and the sanctuaries, diversity of attitude and approaches to them in Indian context. She focuses on sacred mountains, especially Kailasa, which have dominated the Indian imagination for many millennia in the world of literature, architecture, sculpture, music and dance. The attitude to the human body as also the self-consciousness of the relationship of the senses and the mind in diverse civilizations has been of special interest to the author for decades. In the article “Early Evidence of Female Figures, Music and Dance”, she points at essentials of treating the human body in Indian art, specially the female body, over a long span of history. She draws attention to the large measure of consensus on the identification of “meaning” of the particular or single image or relief, ranging from the examples from Mesopotamia to Assyria to Egypt and the figurines and statues of the Indus Valley, Mohenjo-Daro, Harappa and Mehergarh. Further she returns to explicitly stating the ideational background of Indian aesthetics. Finally, she identifies certain motifs which have travelled across a vast geographical area, specially in South-East Asia. Altogether, these essays will enable the reader to trace not only her journey but also her place in Indian art history as a carrier of a tradition of A.K. Coomaraswamy and Stella Kramrisch.Printed Pages: 352. 100549

The Transformation of Nature in Art
Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts/MLBD; New Delhi, India; 1995; 8120716434; Hardcover; New; New;
In the Present work of Coomaraswamy attempts to explain the theory behind medieval European and Asian art, especially art in India. He further supplements the Indian theorywith that of the Chinese. The first principle of his theories is that art does not exist for its own sake; it exists as means to some religious conditions or experience. The comparison with medieval European art in this respect is extremely illuminating. He further shows that both differ radically from the post-Renaissance European Art.Coomaraswamy discusses the theory of art in Asia in the first chapter and contends that the Indian artist did not seek an illusion of Nature, rather he tried to create a truthful suggestion of the character of the subject. He examines, in the second chapter, the medieval European aesthetics in terms of the fourteenth century German mystic, Meister Eckhart. Following chapters investigate through Indian texts the psychology of the Indian view of art. And finally, the origin and use of images in India are discussed in the last chapter.Printed Pages: 101628
